Sewing notions dyeing service

Dyeing all kinds of items has become a very popular service. We offer one kind of it: dyeing sewing notions in the individual colors of our Customers' fabrics.

Today's textile industry offers a huge range of fabrics in every color, and it is not always possible to find ready-made notions in the right color.

Sometimes it is frustrating that we cannot find accessories to match the fabric for a beautiful outfit, or we love a garment but its notions spoil the whole look.

If you have faced such small annoyances too, there is a great solution: order any button or snap from our website and have it dyed exactly the color you consider perfect.

All you need to do is choose a button or snap you like, decide on the size and quantity, and send us a fabric sample. Within a few days you will receive a parcel with the chosen buttons or snaps in the right color.

Base colors for dyeing

White items are usually used for dyeing notions.

We also offer items in different base colors for dyeing. For example, you have chosen a grey button that suits your style, but you want it in black. No problem: we can dye any color into darker shades.

Please note that if the base item has several colors and one of them is black, the black stays unchanged and the others take on the color or a shade of the tone they are dyed in. White is dyed completely into the required color; light base colors and clear items take on the desired tone.

We dye only items from our store's range, because we order high-quality notions that do not deform during dyeing and let the pigment lie evenly on the surface.

How to order dyeing

Choose a button or snap in the catalogue and decide on the size and quantity.
Contact us by phone +380 67 482 10 74 or email sales@hop.shop: tell us you need dyeing and we will tell you where to send the sample.
Send a fabric sample. If you have none, describe the color in words or send a photo.
Receive your parcel: we dye in 1-3 days on average and ship by Nova Poshta.

Terms of the service:

To get the service free of charge, the minimum order is 1 pack in 1 color (the number of pieces per pack may differ for each item on the website; it is stated on the product page).

The pack quantity is shown on the product page as «Wholesale price from»: 144 pcs for most plastic buttons, 200 pcs for natural and shirt buttons, 1000 pcs for snaps. From that quantity the wholesale price of the item itself applies too.

Price:

For orders smaller than 1 pack, dyeing buttons to your color costs 100 UAH.

Lead time:

1-3 days on average, depending on our technologists' workload at the time.

We use only Italian dyes, so you need not worry about the quality of the dyeing or color retention (otherwise we will tell you how to care for the item).

If you cannot send us a fabric sample, we can match a color to your description, but in that case the result may not match the shade of your fabric.

We do not recommend sewing colored buttons onto white garments.

Frequently asked questions

Can you dye notions bought in another store?

No. We dye only items from our range: we know they do not deform during dyeing and the pigment lies evenly on them.

Can a dark button be dyed a light color?

No. Dyeing only makes a color darker, so for light shades choose white, light or clear items.

Will the color fade?

We use Italian dyes, so the color lasts. If an item needs special care, we will tell you.

What if I have no fabric sample?

Describe the color or send a photo and we will match a similar one. An exact shade match is only possible with a physical sample.
